Privacy Policy

1. Scope and data user

This Privacy Policy explains how FindaGF collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal data when you use the website, app, communications, events, and related services. The operator of FindaGF is the data user for this processing. Contact details and privacy requests are available through the Contact page.

2. Data we collect

We may collect account and contact details, date of birth and age, gender, preferences, city, profile answers, photos, and content, likes, matches, messages, blocks, reports, gifts, payments, and event activity, device, browser, IP address, security logs, and essential-cookie data, support communications, and verification material such as an ID selfie, mobile number, or utility bill. Payment providers process card or bank details, FindaGF receives transaction status and limited payment records rather than full card details.

3. Why we process it

We use personal data to create and operate accounts, show profiles and provide matching, messaging, discovery, events, paid features, and support, verify eligibility and identity, prevent fraud, abuse, and unsafe conduct, moderate content and enforce rules, process purchases, gifts, and cash-outs, send service notices and requested communications, measure and improve performance, keep records, and meet legal obligations. Where Malaysian law requires consent, we ask for it. You may limit optional processing through available settings or by contacting us.

4. Sensitive verification material

ID selfies and utility bills are used only for identity, age, authenticity, fraud, safety, dispute, and legal-compliance checks. They are not shown to members. Access is limited to authorized reviewers. Do not submit more information than requested: you may cover unrelated account numbers, balances, document serials, or barcodes if your name, issuer or utility letterhead, and required identity details remain clear. We do not use verification uploads for advertising.

5. How data is shared

We share profile information with other members according to your settings. We may share limited data with hosting, email, payment, analytics, security, customer-support, and professional-service providers that process it for us, with event partners when necessary for an event, in a business transfer, when you direct us, or when reasonably required by law, safety, fraud prevention, or rights enforcement. We do not sell personal data. Providers may process data outside Malaysia, where that occurs, we take reasonable steps required by applicable law to protect it.

6. Public visibility

Profiles may show your display name, age rather than full birth date, city, photos, verification status, interests, and information you choose to add. Your email, mobile number, full birth date, identity documents, utility bills, and exact address are not displayed publicly by FindaGF. Search-engine visibility, online status, and incognito options follow the controls available in Settings.

7. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and as needed afterward for legal, accounting, fraud, safety, dispute, and enforcement purposes. Rejected verification uploads are deleted when the decision is completed. Approved and rejected verification uploads are deleted when the review decision is completed, unless longer retention is required for a documented legal or fraud reason. Backups and transaction or moderation logs may remain for limited periods. We securely delete or anonymize data when no longer needed.

8. Security

We use practical administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. No online service is risk-free. Protect your password, do not share sign-in codes, and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold your personal data, request access or correction, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, limit certain processing, or ask for deletion. You may hide or delete your account and change privacy or notification settings. Some requests may require identity verification, and some data may be retained where law or legitimate safety, fraud, or dispute needs allow. Use the Contact page and state "Privacy request".

10. Children

FindaGF is not for anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we may remove it and related data. Contact us if you believe a minor is using the service.

11. Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar storage for sign-in, security, preferences, and service operation. If optional analytics or advertising cookies are introduced, we will update this notice and provide choices required by law.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will give notice of material changes where required. Questions, complaints, access or correction requests, and consent choices may be sent through the Contact page.
